Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how MedCare Link LLC (“MedCare Link,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares personally identifiable information through drmycare.com (the “Site”). It is provided in accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 22575–22579). This policy covers the Site only; use of the MyCare application is governed by the terms and privacy notices provided within that application.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you request a demo or contact us through the Site, we collect the information you choose to submit, which may include:
- Name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Practice or clinic name
- Your role, practice size and specialty
- The contents of any message you send us
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically receive standard technical information sent by your browser, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the date and time of your visit. We use this information only to deliver, secure and maintain the Site.
Please do not submit patient health or medical information through the Site. The Site is not designed to receive medical information.
Health information, HIPAA and the CMIA
This Privacy Policy does not apply to protected health information (PHI) or medical information processed in the MyCare application on behalf of healthcare providers. That information is governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (Cal. Civ. Code § 56 et seq.), our Business Associate Agreements with providers, and the notices provided in the application. Patients should refer to their healthcare provider’s Notice of Privacy Practices. - To communicate with you about MyCare and our services
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
3. Categories of third parties we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share personally identifiable information only with the following categories of third parties:
- Service providers that host the Site, process form submissions and deliver Site content (such as website hosting, form-processing, font and content-delivery providers), solely to perform services for us;
- Professional advisors such as attorneys and accountants, under duties of confidentiality;
- Government authorities or other parties when required by law, subpoena or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of MedCare Link, our users or others; and
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
4. Cookies, Do Not Track and third-party tracking
The Site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or other tracking technologies to collect information about your online activities over time or across third-party websites. Because we do not engage in that type of tracking, the Site does not change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts and photos and videos from a third-party content-delivery network. When your browser requests these files, those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies. We do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site.
5. Reviewing and changing your information
You may request to review, correct or delete the personally identifiable information you submitted through the Site by contacting us through our contact page or by mail at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
6. Your California privacy rights
Shine the Light. Under California Civil Code § 1798.83, California residents may request information about the disclosure of their personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. MedCare Link does not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
No sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information submitted through the Site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We keep the information you submit only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
8. Children
The Site is intended for healthcare professionals and businesses. It is not directed to children or minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
